Fun Stuff

Really dig our characters? Got a creative itch that they can help scratch? Well dammit man, scratch it! We’d love to see any and all fan art based on our books, and your submissions may even see print in a future book.

Can’t draw? Got something to ask/comment on? Got something to ask/comment on and you can draw, but choose not to, but would still like us to hear your comment/answer your question? Drop us a line, and your letter could be printed in a future issue. Your questions might even be answered! Might be. Don’t get cocky.

To kick things off, here’s a pic of Bliss done by my man Brian Vander at 2007’s Wizard World Chicago:

Here’s some images from our recent live appearances (we try our best to get out, but for reasons best not disclosed publicly, we have to avoid the sun).

Here’s James Lynch, artist on Saints and writer/artist on Bliss and Victors, at our table at Wizard World Chicago 2008.

Here’s another shot of our table.

And some girls who kept hanging around our table. Oh, they said they knew the guy at the table next to us, but James just has a knack for attracting bad girls who get horribly screwed up by heavy-handed editorial decisions and/or Grant Morrison.

Reggie Hansome, creator/writer of Saints, and Phoenix from American Gladiators. He’s slightly enthused to be meeting her.
Reggie and Phoenix

This is a man known only as The Captain. He doesn’t actually contribute anything, but he tries so big. Here, he spent several hours in line at Mike Choi’s (Witchblade, X-23: Target X, X-Force) table to get James a sketch of Eclipse from Victors. They cut off the line after him, and then it turned out Mike ran out of time before the Captain got up there (he was next in line and Mike was running late for a Marvel panel), so the Captain got to bug Mike at a Top Cow signing the next day where Mike wasn’t supposed to be doing any sketching.

If you can’t read it, the sign says “Hi! Last in line. Mike’s a lazy douchebag.”

The long awaited (and beautiful) result of this ordeal is below:

Here’s a candid shot from James and Reggie’s recent signing at Heroes and Dreams comic shop in Kenosha, WI.
